Yauco

Yaucoyouˈkō[key], town (1990 pop. 42,058), SW Puerto Rico, on the Yauco River. It is a growing commercial, trade, and processing center of a sugar, coffee, tobacco, and cotton area. Yauco also produces textiles and other light manufactures.
