Gananoque
gănənŏk´wē, –wə [key], town (1991 pop. 5,209), SE Ont., Canada, on the St. Lawrence River. It has steel- and copperworks. A summer resort, it is a starting point for excursions to the Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.
