Sayreville

Sayreville,borough (1990 pop. 34,986), Middlesex co., E N.J., on the Raritan River; inc. 1919. Among its various manufactures are chemicals, plastics, steel, and adhesives. In 2012 parts of Sayreville suffered significant damage from Hurricane Sandy.
