Asenath ăs´ənăth [key], in the Bible, Poti-phera's daughter, the Egyptian wife of Joseph, mother of Manasseh and Ephraim. Her betrothal to Joseph and conversion to Judaism are the subject of Joseph and Asenath, one of the Old TestamentPseudepigrapha.
