A member of the so-called “Brat Pack,” of the 1980s, Judd Nelson burst upon the Hollywood scene by starring in three successful young adult films,The Breakfast Club,Fandango, andSt. Elmo's Fire(all 1985). His follow-up efforts in more grown-up movies,Blue City(1986) andFrom the Hip(1987), were panned by critics and performed poorly at the box office, and, like many of his fellow Brat Packers, Nelson's career stalled. In 1996, he co-starred withBrooke Shields在NBC情景喜剧Suddenly Susan.
