查尔斯·亨利·斯隆，国会议员，东北(1863-1946)

查尔斯·亨利·斯隆，内布拉斯加州众议员;1863年5月2日出生于爱荷华州琼斯县蒙蒂塞洛;就读于公立学校，1884年毕业于艾姆斯的爱荷华州立农业学院;搬到了内布拉斯加州的费尔蒙特。，同年;1884-1887年任市学校督学;学习法律;1887年获得律师资格，并开始在费尔蒙特执业;1891年搬到菲尔莫尔县的日内瓦，继续从事法律工作;日内瓦国家银行行长;1890-1894年菲尔莫尔县检察官; member of the State senate 1894-1896; chairman of the Republican State convention in 1903; elected as a Republican to the Sixty-second and to the three succeeding Congresses (March 4, 1911-March 3, 1919); did not seek renomination in 1918; elected to the Seventy-first Congress (March 4, 1929-March 3, 1931); unsuccessful for reelection in 1930 to the Seventy-second Congress; resumed the practice of law in Geneva, Nebr., and also engaged in banking; died in Geneva, Nebr., on June 2, 1946; interment in Geneva Cemetery.
