哈丁，沃伦·加玛列尔俄亥俄州参议员、美国第29任总统;1865年11月2日出生于俄亥俄州莫罗县布卢姆格罗夫;就读于伊比利亚的公立学校和俄亥俄中央学院;短期学习法律;教会学校;从事保险业务;1884年成为《马里昂之星》的编辑和出版人;1899-1903年州参议员;1904-1905年任俄亥俄州副州长;1910年竞选州长失败的共和党候选人; elected as a Republican to the United States Senate and served from March 4, 1915, until his resignation, effective January 13, 1921, having been elected President; chairman, Committee on the Philippines (Sixty-sixth Congress); elected President of the United States on the Republican ticket, was inaugurated March 4, 1921, and served until his death in San Francisco, Calif., while on a tour of the Western States and Alaska, August 2, 1923; lay in state in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol, August 8, 1923; interment in Marion Cemetery, Marion, Ohio; reinterment in Harding Memorial Tomb.
